Ras
Ras is a furniture collection driven by surface, fire, and time—where material becomes essence, flavour, and touch. Inspired by raku glazing and natural weathering, the series treats patina not as an applied finish but as a primary design generator. Across seating, tables, consoles, and storage, roughness is balanced with restraint, producing objects that feel mature, tactile, and quietly opulent

Challenge(s)
The collection explores how controlled burning, layered glazing, and erosion-like textures can define form rather than decorate it. Each piece is conceived as a domestic artifact. objects for entering, resting, gathering, pausing, and holding anchored by mass, compression, and grounded proportions. Designed as a complete and saleable family, Ras positions surface experimentation within furniture typologies meant for living rather than display alone.

Deliverie(s)
Although currently developed as a conceptual collection, every piece in Ras is imagined with future execution in mind through ceramic processes, kiln-fired modules, composite substrates, or engineered cladding systems capable of carrying raku-like finishes at scale. The goal is to collaborate with ceramicists, metalworkers, and fabricators to translate fire-born surfaces into durable, repeatable collectible objects, without losing the unpredictability that gives the collection its depth.
